As we are “new” to Marloth Park and was totally oblivious to its history, fauna and flora, we have been reading every piece of information we could get our hands on. We have found all the answers we needed in a book called THIS IS MARLOTH PARK, written by Alan Holmes. (We will always endeavour to have a copy of this book available for you to read during your visit.)

As we would really like to convey our joy and the awe that we experience on every visit to Marloth Park to you, even before you arrive at the gate, we have asked Mr. Holmes for permission to use extracts of his book on our website. We are forever grateful to him for giving us the requested permission to do so.

We do not quote verbatim from the book, but rather convey a very condensed version of parts thereof, with a few of our own additions, to whet your appetite.
